"We went to Plummers after being lucky enough to win a meal for two from local wave 105 radio station. The friendly greeting straight away was an inclination of how the evening would go. The whole meal was cooked to perfection and I had a piece of salmon that was so big I didn't know weather to eat it or climb it. Talk about value for money! The food is fresh, local and homemade and just tastes incredible. It's been a long time since I had a plum crumble that was exactly how my mum used to make. Perfect! If you want a great meal and atmosphere to match, then Helen & Sarah can certainly provide that at Plummers. Don't be put off thinking what you see through the window is it! The place has more seating round the back, upstairs and in the garden. "I have visited Plummers on a number of occasions for lunch and also for the evening meals. The food has always been of the highest standard, in good proportion and we have enjoyed excellent service. "On the 1st November 2008 I took my whole family to Plummers for a special occasion, we were made very welcome with the staff making every effort to ensure we were well looked after, and even with eight of us all ordering different things, the food arrived all together and was excellent. I had the baked chicken with bacon and stilton sauce, which was superb and highly recommended.
